Fuel fitting "T" Piece 5/16" push on style suits Holley & Stromberg type carburettors . Fuel elbows are Australian made in aluminium with a double flare. Aluminium being a soft metal makes an excellent seal against the carburettor seat. A double flare indicates that the metal tubing is doubled in on itself before being flared. Flaring the tube thins the metal so the double flare provides extra thickness to protect against cracking and helps to provide a better seal against the carburetor seat .

When choosing fuel components it’s important to choose fittings that are doubled flared rather than single flared. Single flared fittings are very thin at the flare which means that overtime the metal will wear and be prone to cracking where it seals against the carburetor seal.
